About Alpha Firearms
A Little History
I was brought up in a family with firearms. My grandfather was a competition Pistol shooter and my uncles were avid target shooters. They shot mostly shotguns and some pistols as well. In high school, my friends and I would go to the local range on a Saturday night and relieve some stress and target shoot shotguns.
As I grew into adult age I became more interested in long-range shooting and got into bolt action rifles and AR-style rifles. I began taking training classes to become more proficient with all the firearms, pistols, rifles, and shotguns.
As I went from a beginner to a seasoned firearms purchaser I realized how some of the firearms stores really took advantage of someone young and new to the sport. What also was apparent to me was that, yes I purchased the firearm, but I walked away with no real knowledge of how it worked or even the basics of cleaning and caring for it. I watched a lot of YouTube videos, which were mixed with good and bad advice.
I decided I wanted to start my own firearms business and offer a much higher level of service than what the other dealers were offering where the beginner can feel comfortable and get the information they need to begin learning how to shoot and how to care for their new firearm.
Alpha Firearms was born with the motto … “Every great marksman was a beginner.”
